Klub Bunga Butik Resort is a wonderful place for a family getaway outside Surabaya.
Located in the Batu area not far from Malang, it's about a two hour drive from Surabaya airport.

The hotel actually is in Batu, 25 km's from Malang, and situated on a hill with stunning views (especially the sunrise) over the Bromo and close to attractions like mountain passes and waterfalls. The complex is huge, the hotel has a lot of rooms and also exploits villa's in a Beverly Hills like park. Because of the height the nights are cool.

The rooms in the hotel are reasonable and clean. You can get a villa if you prefer some privacy and have the whole family together in one place.

However the best part of Klub Bunga is the facilities. Let's start with the pool. The hotel has good swimming pools, a complete massage pool and many facilities that makes it perfect for families with younger children to stay. It's huge, and comes with many associated features, such as a water basketball court, volleyball net, water slide (although only small) and an inflated dragon for kids to climb on.

There are heaps of other facilities - air rifle shooting area, tennis courts, basketball courts, beach volleyball court, badminton court and squash court. Then there's the playground, which is fairly big and has some interesting shapes and things to climb on and in. There's also a garden maze, where your kids can get lost and you can find them. There are also heaps of games to play, such as a giant chess board, stilts, frisbee, etc, etc, etc.

When the sun goes down, there are more indoor facilities like table tennis, snooker, arcades etc.
A cosy library for some quiet reading. Of course, a hotel in Batu wouldn't be complete without a karaoke section.

For kids and children, they can play with trivia quiz, or watch videos about the animals and learn about animals anatomy in a fun way.

In this beautifull thematic museum, you can also find a food arcade in the middle of the museum.

You can buy many kinds of traditional foods such as ‘Tahu petis’ ‘Pisang goreng’ ‘Rengginang’ ‘Jipang’ etc.
